Swimtime approached us with a tender opportunity to build their new website. Their old site was looking very dated, was hard to navigate, and could not be updated in-house. They liked the sites we had done for Art of Swimming, and were keen to see what we could do for them.
Swimtime is a franchise business and the so site had to attract essentially three “client groups”: members of the public looking for swimming lessons, business people searching for a franchise opportunity, and swimming teachers looking for work. The company is UK-wide and so, for the swimming lessons part of the business, an essential part of the site was a postcode search so clients and prospects can get to local information relevant to them quickly.
The result was a clean and fresh site with bespoke design and a range of specially commissioned photographs. Home page copy was created to stress the benefits of swimming with Swimtime, and a special mini site for potential franchisees in complementary branding emphasises why working with the company is a great idea.
The site is friendly, easy to navigate, and the client has reported that it is bringing them more business by the day. As for updating the site in-house, the WordPress system enables them to add blog posts, change copy, and add new postcodes as the business grows, easily.
“We love the new website. It looks great, is very professional, easy to navigate, interesting to read, and really well written. But best of all it is bringing us more clients. Before the new website our franchisees were getting 4–5 enquiries a week. Now it’s 4–5 enquiries a day.”
